West London Humanists and Secularists is a local group in the West London area that is affiliated to the British Humanist Association and the National Secular Society. We discuss social, political, religious, philosophical, scientific, artistic and other issues, and regularly invite speakers who are experts in their fields.

You don't need to be a humanist or secularist to join in. We welcome atheists, agnostics, rationalists, skeptics, freethinkers and like-minded people to meet and exchange ideas.

We normally meet twice a month: on first Tuesdays for a get-together in the pub; on third Thursdays to listen to (and discuss) talks and presentations.

Our next talk is on Friday 18th May at the Meeting House.  It will be given by Dr. Mark Spencer who will visit us as part of the public consultation on the "Shaping a Healthier Future" programme, which is charged with reconfiguring all the NHS resources and services in North West London. This is a massively complex programme whose outcome will affect all of us. Mark is medical director for NHS North West London. He is also the clinical expert and lead for this programme.
PLEASE NOTE: This meeting is having to be held on a  Friday rather than our usual Thursday

Time, location, and more detail on our programme of talks, can be found on the Meetings page.

If you feel that:
                          - you do not need a God to give your life purpose
                          - belief should be based on evidence
                          - morality should come from humanity not authority
...then perhaps you should join us.
